In many areas, the recycled content can be a lot higher, depending on local availability factors such as having other Aggregate Industries businesses close by.

As a guide, please see Masterblock Recycled Map (pdf) highlighting approximately how much recycled content goes into Masterblock. The basic minimum is 20%, but based on 2007 figures, can be over 50% or even more.

Masterblock is confident that passing on this important information about recycled content will enable you to make an informed choice when selecting lightweight aggregate blocks.

Masterblock Lightweight aggregate concrete blocks are a medium density general purpose block suitable for applications above and below ground.The block’s finish provides an ideal surface for receiving plaster and render. A low density version of this block is available from our Aberdeen works only (Pumalite).
